Star Smith, Art Therapist and Counselor Graduate Student

As a student at Southwestern College, in Santa Fe, I have learned that we have to embrace what is painful and look at ourselves in order to come out on the other side. I will help you integrate that piece of you through making art, motivational interviewing, EMDR, and mindfulness anxiety management skills. My experiences thus far include outpatient addictions with adults, school-based mindfulness classes, children experiencing low-self esteem, bullying, separation or divorce, anger, disruptive/attention-seeking, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and peer/sibling conflict. Adults who have issues that have carried over since childhood. I am looking forward to meeting you and working with you.
